Macau’s Financial Services Bureau has reported that the government’s revenue from gaming taxes in July amounted to around MOP$8.11 billion (US$1.01 billion), a figure that closely matches the MOP$8.16 billion collected in June.

The July tax intake reflects Macau’s gross gaming revenue for June, when GGR totaled MOP$21.1 billion (US$2.60 billion). That result represented a 19.0% increase year-on-year but was slightly lower than May’s performance.
From January through July, government revenue from gaming taxes reached MOP$53.4 billion (US$6.64 billion), an increase of 3.4% compared with the same seven-month period in 2024.
Over the same span, the government’s total revenue stood at MOP$63.3 billion (US$7.87 billion), with taxes from gaming accounting for 86.3% of all income.
Authorities have set an annual budget of MOP$93.1 billion (US$11.6 billion) for gaming duty revenue in fiscal year 2025. As of the end of July, gaming tax collections had achieved 60.3% of that target.
