Sports Information Services (SIS) has confirmed an extension to its partnership with Greyhound Racing Ireland (GRI), securing the rights to continue broadcasting Irish greyhound racing until 2028.

This renewed agreement reinforces SIS’s commitment to delivering comprehensive greyhound coverage to betting operators across Ireland, the UK, and international markets.
The extended collaboration means SIS will retain exclusive rights to live broadcast and data coverage from ten Irish greyhound tracks. With this, over 500 races per month—equating to approximately 115 races weekly—will be available for SIS’s 24/7 live betting service.
Among the major events covered under this deal are the prestigious Irish Greyhound Derby and Winter Racing Festival at Shelbourne Park, as well as the Kirby Memorial races held at Limerick. Additional top-tier fixtures include the ‘Fair Warrior’ 400, the Kingdom Derby, and the Cambridgeshire Open 750.
SIS, which already supplies live pictures and data to many of Ireland’s leading online sports betting platforms and retail betting shops, has described this move as a natural progression of a fruitful and long-standing relationship with GRI.
Paul Witten, EMEA Managing Director at SIS, expressed his enthusiasm for the extended collaboration:
“We are delighted to continue building on our strong partnership with GRI, broadcasting over 500 races per month from 10 tracks, with a series of new venues to follow,” he said.Witten went on to emphasize the significance of Irish greyhound racing within SIS’s global offerings:
“Greyhound Racing from Ireland has in recent years established itself as a core part of the greyhound coverage for retail and online operators. Both in the UK and international markets, and our coverage showcases the very best the nation has to offer.”
The partnership also enables SIS to maintain its impressive annual output of more than 24,000 greyhound races globally. This comprehensive service will continue to include live streams, data feeds, enhanced screen graphics, and full betting odds integration for betting operators.
From GRI’s side, the extension is being celebrated as a crucial component in the organization’s broader efforts to elevate Irish greyhound racing on the world stage.GRI CEO Tim Lucey commented on the significance of the deal:
“Our partnership with SIS has been instrumental in consistently delivering world-class exposure for Irish greyhound racing and we are extremely pleased to secure extended collaboration for the next three years.”
This new agreement is also part of SIS’s broader multi-content strategy launched over the past year. Alongside greyhound racing, SIS has significantly expanded its portfolio to include enhanced horse racing coverage, esports, and numbers games. These developments have seen SIS build deeper relationships with key partners, including leading platforms and one of the UK’s top betting sites, Betfred.
