According to the official statement issued by the CSE, the removal of EFA Holdings PLC from the index is scheduled to take effect on Friday, August 8, 2025. The decision was made in alignment with the CSE’s regulatory framework, specifically Rule 3 of the Ground Rules for the Management and Calculation of the CSE Indices.

Rule 3, as cited by the Exchange, "provides for the non-inclusion of a share in an index in cases of free price fluctuation." Based on this provision, the CSE determined that the shares of EFA Holdings PLC no longer meet the criteria for inclusion in the Emerging Companies Market Index.
