CSE Lists €25 Million in New 13-Week Government Treasury Bills Following June Auction

The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) on Tuesday announced the listing of a new series of government treasury bills with a total nominal value of €25 million.

This latest addition to the market involves the acceptance and upcoming trading of 25,000 short-term securities, each with a nominal value of €1,000.
According to the official announcement, the new issue concerns 13-week treasury bills—sixth issue, series 2025—spanning the period from June 20, 2025, to September 19, 2025.
These bills were issued following a government auction held on June 16, 2025.
In its statement, the CSE confirmed, “The Cyprus Stock Exchange announces the acceptance of the listing on the CSE of Government Treasury Bills, 13 Weeks, 6th Issue, Series 2025 (20/6/2025 – 19/9/2025) of a nominal value of €25,000,000, which have resulted from an auction conducted on June 16, 2025.”
Additionally, the CSE noted that the securities were approved for simultaneous entry into the central depository and central registry, ensuring immediate integration into the country’s settlement and clearing systems.
The treasury bills, as stated in the CSE’s announcement, do not bear an interest rate. “It is noted that the Treasury Bills will not bear interest,” the exchange clarified.
Trading of the new 13-week treasury bills is scheduled to commence on Friday, June 20, 2025, providing investors with an opportunity to engage in a zero-coupon government-backed instrument within a defined three-month maturity horizon.
