Strategic synergy: Raketech acquires Infinileads SL

IGaming performance marketing partner, Raketech, has announced the acquisition of Spanish-based casino affiliate marketing company, Infinileads SL.

The deal forms a strategic milestone for Raketech as it takes the position of even more Latin American emerging markets, such as Argentina, Mexico and Peru. This comes in addition to Infinileads’ core markets: Portugal, Spain and Italy.

This acquisition sees Raketech reach a goal of 5% in the group’s total revenues in this year’s Q4. The overall purchase price equated to €4.5m ($5.3m) on a cash and debt free basis, which will be payable in two installments: €2.5m by closing 31 January 2021 and €2m by closing 31 January 2022. Based on performance measures over a period of 24 months post closing, there is a possibility of additional earnout payments.

With Infinilead’s free-to-play casino game library driving high user engagement, it is expected to bring synergies to Raketech’s free-to-play portfolio. The acquisition of such affiliates will evolve Rakatech and its market over the course of 24 months.

“With the acquisition of Infinileads, we significantly increase our geographical footprint, taking strong positions on the emerging Latin American market as well as Southern Europe,” said Oskar Mühlbach, CEO of Raketech.

“Infinileads’ scalable product portfolio aligns well with our scalable platform strategy and they have proven that with relatively low investments and short go-to-market time, it is possible to take significant positions in emerging markets. I am very happy that, with the help of the Infinileads team, we can continue to scale the free-to-play concept to several new markets”.
